From what I understand, is the presence of cervical mucus prior to the beginning of the periods, eg 2-3 days before each period.
The mucus is thin and smooth.
I asked the same question. They said that what is clear with white beads in it. It also leads to a slightly thicker it right before you begin.
I have the same type of CM, one can have white, thick, but some of this kind ..
